Community Clubs

Many children enjoy sporting activities beyond the confines of the school, taking up some of the many opportunities to join in with clubs being run in our local community.  We strongly encourage all children to try out a range of these activities as we are certain that there is something out there for everyone!

 

As we do not have any connection with any external clubs, we cannot recommend which activities may suit your child.  It is essential that before signing your child up for a club/activity, a parent considers carefully the quality of provision and satisfies themselves to the appropriateness of the activity for their child.

 

Below, you will find links to a range of national governing bodies.  Clubs affiliated to a national governing body will typically need to demonstrate that they have good safeguarding procedures in place and that coaches/leaders have attended appropriate training to gain qualifications.  In most cases, if you type in your postcode, the website will show a list of local clubs/activities.
