This half term, we are excited to be learning about Egypt through our topic 'Exciting Egyptians!' For our WOW day, we will be exploring life in Ancient Egypt through a range of activities. 

Our reading will explore a range of non-fiction texts around Egypt and mummification. For our fiction text, we will be reading Totally Chaotic History: Ancient Egypt Gets Unruly! by Greg Jenner. In writing, we will be looking at a plot weave, persuasive advert and non-chronological report. 

In maths we will be exploring fractions, time, decimals and money.. We will continue to build our confidence with our times tables and increase our fluency. 

Our new topic for science is states of matter. We will be looking at the properties of solids, liquids and gases, what state water is and how temperature affects the water cycle.

In RE, we are learning about how and why people try and make the world a better place. We will be looking at Christianity, Judaism and Islam and how people from different religions try to make the world a better place.
