Our topic this term is, ‘Tribal Tales'. Did you know that the Stone Age accounts for the first 99% of human history?! The changes that occurred over these millions of years made humanity what it is today. We will consider the question, 'How can we possibly know what life was like so many years ago before man recorded his thoughts in writing?' Further enquiry questions can be found by viewing the Half Term Curriculum Map below. In Geography, we will consider where we are in relation to the the rest of the continent of Europe. Our scientific enquiry will be based around plants. including what parts make up a plant and what functions these parts have.
Our focus for writing will start with the story of 'The Wild Girl' by Chris Wormell, a young girl who lives in a cave all alone, except for her faithful dog. We will then look at creating non-fiction fact files that detail life in the Stone Age and the Iron Age.
